How is it already almost mid-March? Time flies and this time I'm happy about it! We, in the Southern California mountains, are currently experiencing the aftermath of quite a devastating snowstorm. Our area got about 4 feet of snow, which is minor compared to our neighboring cities! Many got 6-7 feet, some of the ski resorts received about 11 feet total, which of course implies heavy snowloads, collapsed gas meters, blocked heater vents, the inability for fuel or food trucks to get up the mountain to deliver. People have been trapped in their homes if they don't have the means to shovel their driveways, or can't afford a snow removal company. Needless to say, Spring can't come soon enough!
The positive about this trying time is that we've seen the community really come together. The compassion and care we've seen has completely confirmed our faith in humanity ♥️
